The dynamic nature of law, issues of justice and trial practice have always been fascinating to Thomas R. Matvey. Even though becoming a lawyer was part of his long-term career goals, he did not immediately enter the legal field.
Prior to becoming an attorney, he worked as the manager of accounting for an industrial distribution company. That experience, combined with the fact that his father worked in a steel mill, has given attorney Matvey a deep understanding of the industrial influence in Pennsylvania. A native of the region, he was born and raised in the Pittsburgh area and currently lives in Beaver County.
Educated at Robert Morris College and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, attorney Matvey has a deep understanding of the law that is accentuated by his education and experience in financial analysis. For the past 14 years, Attorney Matvey has represented hundreds of people injured due to the negligence of others.

Attorney Matvey has tried cases before magistrates, boards of arbitrators, and Common Pleas Court judges and juries. He has argued cases and points of law before judges at the Common Pleas, Superior Court, and Commonwealth court levels, and has been very successful with appeal issues before the higher courts of Pennsylvania.
In 2004 Attorney Matvey joined attorney John Palmieri in their law firm, Palmieri & Matvey, P.C.. Following the retirement of John Palmieri in 2006, attorney Matvey continued the standards of practice established by the firm.
